Some devices have an internal clock used by the events to space the conversions. The max1363 introduced the option in commit168c9d95a9("iio:adc:max1363 move from staging.") and ad799x in commitba1d79613d("staging:iio:ad799x: Use event spec for threshold hysteresis") Signed-off-by: Jorge Marques <jorge.marques@analog.com> Link: https://patch.msgid.link/20250321-abi-oversampling-events-frequency-v1-1-794c1ab2f079@analog.com Signed-off-by: Jonathan Cameron <Jonathan.Cameron@huawei.com>
Linux kernel
============
There are several guides for kernel developers and users. These guides can
be rendered in a number of formats, like HTML and PDF. Please read
Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst first.
In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/
There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the reStructuredText markup notation.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
