The u32 version field encodes major, minor, revision and reserved. We've basically been checking for any non-zero version. Add opregion version logging while at it. v2: Fix the fix of the version check Fixes:04ebaadb9f("drm/i915/opregion: handle VBT sizes bigger than 6 KB") Cc: Ville Syrjälä <ville.syrjala@linux.intel.com> Cc: Imre Deak <imre.deak@intel.com> Reviewed-by: Ville Syrjälä <ville.syrjala@linux.intel.com> Signed-off-by: Jani Nikula <jani.nikula@intel.com> Link: https://patchwork.freedesktop.org/patch/msgid/20190208184254.24123-1-jani.nikula@intel.com (cherry picked from commit98fdaaca95) Signed-off-by: Jani Nikula <jani.nikula@intel.com>
Linux kernel
============
There are several guides for kernel developers and users. These guides can
be rendered in a number of formats, like HTML and PDF. Please read
Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst first.
In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/
There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
