The build of drivers/staging/gpib/hp_82341 driver was failing with: ERROR: modpost: "isapnp_read_byte" [drivers/staging/gpib/hp_82341/hp_82341.ko] undefined! because the symbol was not exported for modules. There were no errors building with allyesconfig The symbol was removed by Link: https://lore.kernel.org/all/20051030202734.GN4180@stusta.de/ because it was no longer used by any mainline modules. Export the symbol again. Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst first.
In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/
There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the reStructuredText markup notation.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
