UART 0 to 2 do not have DMA support, while UART 3 to 7 do. Fill the "dmas" and "dma-names" properties for each of these nodes. Please mind that these nodes go through the dmamux node which will redirect the requests to the right DMA controller. The first 4 cells of the "dmas" properties will be transferred as-is to the DMA controllers. The last 2 cells are consumed by the dmamux. Which means cell 0 and 4 are almost redundant, one giving the controller request ID and the other the dmamux channel which is a 1:1 translation of the request IDs, shifted by 16 when pointing to the second DMA controller. Linux kernel
============
There are several guides for kernel developers and users. These guides can
be rendered in a number of formats, like HTML and PDF. Please read
Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst first.
In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/
There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
