Implement the sof_ipc_tplg_control_ops.update function to support a control change notification from the firmware on switch or enum control types. Based on the module notification message content, look up the swidget, then the scontrol which was the source of the notification then if the message contains the changed values update the cached values. If only a notification without values received, marked the control as dirty and on next read access fetch the new values from the firmware. Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst first.
In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/
There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
