The queued and obsoleted scan events can be wrongly treated as events of new scan request, causing unexpected scan result. Attach a software sequence number to scan request and its corresponding events. When a new scan request is acknowledged by firmware, purge the scan events if its sequence number is not belong to current request. ``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:

There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the reStructuredText markup notation.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
