commitd85b758f72("virtio_net: fix support for small rings") was supposed to increase the buffer size for small rings but had an unintentional side effect of decreasing it for large rings. This seems to break some setups - it's not yet clear why, but increasing buffer size back to what it was before helps. These guides can be rendered in a number of formats, like HTML and PDF. In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or ``make pdfdocs``. There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory, several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation. See Documentation/00-INDEX for a list of what is contained in each file.
