Commit7b4693e644("MAINTAINERS: add uapi directories to API/ABI section") added include/uapi/ and arch/*/include/uapi/ so that patches modifying them CC linux-api. However that was already done in the past and resulted in too much noise and thus later removed, as explained inb14fd334ff("MAINTAINERS: trim the file triggers for ABI/API") To prevent another round of addition and removal in the future, change the entries to X: (explicit exclusion) for documentation purposes, although they are not subdirectories of broader included directories, as there is apparently no defined way to add plain comments in subsystem sections. be rendered in a number of formats, like HTML and PDF. Please read
Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst first.
In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/
There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
