This reverts commit11a6fc3dc7. UBIFS wants to assert that xattr operations are only issued on files with positive link count. The said patch made this operations return -ENOENT for unlinked files such that the asserts will no longer trigger. This was wrong since xattr operations are perfectly fine on unlinked files. Instead the assertions need to be fixed/removed. ``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/
There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.
See Documentation/00-INDEX for a list of what is contained in each file.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
