The whole framebuffer is cleared, so it's useless to rewrite the background colored pixels. It allows to simplify the drawing functions, and prepare the work for the set_pixel() callback. v2: * keep fg16/fg24/fg32 as variable name for the blit function. * add drm_panic_is_pixel_fg() to avoid code duplication. both suggested by Javier Martinez Canillas Signed-off-by: Jocelyn Falempe <jfalempe@redhat.com> Reviewed-by: Javier Martinez Canillas <javierm@redhat.com> Link: https://patchwork.freedesktop.org/patch/msgid/20240603095343.39588-2-jfalempe@redhat.com

Linux kernel
============
There are several guides for kernel developers and users. These guides can
be rendered in a number of formats, like HTML and PDF. Please read
Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst first.
In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/
There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the reStructuredText markup notation.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
