Path template is similar to path description found in skylake-driver and it describes how given path shall look like in runtime - number of modules and pipelines that shape it and how they are laid out. It is tied to DAPM widget's (representing either a FE or a BE) private data. Depending on the number of audio formats supported, each path template may carry one or more descriptions of given path. During runtime, when audio format is known, description matching said format is selected and used when instantiating path on ADSP firmware side through IPCs. Add parsing helpers to support loading such information from the topology file. Linux kernel
============
There are several guides for kernel developers and users. These guides can
be rendered in a number of formats, like HTML and PDF. Please read
Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst first.
In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/
There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
