The mxs-dcp driver fails to probe if sha1/sha256 are supported: [ 2.455404] mxs-dcp 80028000.dcp: Failed to register sha1 hash! [ 2.464042] mxs-dcp: probe of 80028000.dcp failed with error -22 This happens because since commit8996eafdcb("crypto: ahash - ensure statesize is non-zero") import/export is mandatory and ahash_prepare_alg fails on statesize == 0. A set of dummy import/export functions were implemented in commit9190b6fd5d("crypto: mxs-dcp - Add empty hash export and import") but statesize is still zero and the driver fails to probe. That change was apparently part of some unrelated refactoring. Fix by actually implementing import/export. Linux kernel
============
There are several guides for kernel developers and users. These guides can
be rendered in a number of formats, like HTML and PDF. Please read
Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst first.
In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/
There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.
See Documentation/00-INDEX for a list of what is contained in each file.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
