mte_assign_mem_tag_range() was added in commit85f49cae4d("arm64: mte: add in-kernel MTE helpers") in 5.11 but moved out of mte.S by commit2cb3427642("arm64: kasan: simplify and inline MTE functions") in 5.12 and renamed to mte_set_mem_tag_range().2cb3427642did not delete the old function prototypes in mte.h. Remove the unused prototype from mte.h. be rendered in a number of formats, like HTML and PDF. Please read
Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst first.
In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/
There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
