As part of the FW definitions, we declare each blob as required via the MODULE_FIRMWARE() macro. This causes the initramfs update (or equivalent process) to look for the blobs on disk when the kernel is installed; therefore, we need to make sure that all FWs we define are available in linux-firmware. We currently don't plan to push the PVC blob to linux-firmware, while the LNL one will only be pushed once we have machines in CI to test it, so we need to remove them from the list for now. be rendered in a number of formats, like HTML and PDF. Please read
Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst first.
In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/
There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
