Warn if we detect a panel with incomplete/wrong description. This is inspired by a similar patch by Laurent that introduced checks for LVDS panels - this extends the checks to the remaining type of connectors. This is known to warn for some of the existing panels but added despite this as we need help from people using the panels to add the missing info. The checks are not complete but will catch the most common mistakes. The checks at the same time serve as documentation for the minimum required description for a panel. The checks uses dev_warn() as we know this will hit. be rendered in a number of formats, like HTML and PDF. Please read
Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst first.
In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/
There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
