The device needs data about the antenna configuration. This information in provided by PDS (Platform Data Set, this is the wording used in WF200 documentation) files. Until now, the driver had to parse the PDS file before to send it. This solution was not acceptable for the vanilla kernel. We have slightly changed the PDS format so it is now an array of Type-Length-Value. This patch allows to support new format and keep compatibility with legacy format. Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst first.
In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/
There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
