Some PHY in PHY package may require to read/write MMD regs to correctly configure the PHY package. Add support for these additional required function in both lock and no lock variant. It's assumed that the entire PHY package is either C22 or C45. We use C22 or C45 way of writing/reading to mmd regs based on the passed phydev whether it's C22 or C45. In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/
There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
