Here is a regular kexec command sequence and output: ===== $ kexec --reuse-cmdline -i --load Image $ kexec -e [ 161.342002] kexec_core: Starting new kernel Welcome to Buildroot buildroot login: ===== Even when "quiet" kernel parameter is specified, "kexec_core: Starting new kernel" is printed. This message has KERN_EMERG level, but there is no emergency, it is a normal kexec operation, so quiet it down to appropriate KERN_NOTICE. Machines that have slow console baud rate benefit from less output. There are several guides for kernel developers and users. These guides can
be rendered in a number of formats, like HTML and PDF. Please read
Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst first.
In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/
There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
