It is better to use unsigned int as the data type for the passive_delay and polling_delay arguments of thermal_zone_device_register_with_trips() because they are implicitly cast to unsigned int anyway in thermal_set_delay_jiffies() and if they happen to be negative at that point, the resulting behavior may not be as desired. Update the thermal_zone_device_register_with_trips() definition accordingly. Signed-off-by: Rafael J. Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst first.
In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/
There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the reStructuredText markup notation.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
