HWRM_TEMP_MONITOR_QUERY response now indicates various threshold temperatures. Expose these threshold temperatures through the hwmon sysfs using this mapping: hwmon_temp_max : bp->warn_thresh_temp hwmon_temp_crit : bp->crit_thresh_temp hwmon_temp_emergency : bp->fatal_thresh_temp hwmon_temp_max_alarm : temp >= bp->warn_thresh_temp hwmon_temp_crit_alarm : temp >= bp->crit_thresh_temp hwmon_temp_emergency_alarm : temp >= bp->fatal_thresh_temp Link: https://lore.kernel.org/netdev/20230815045658.80494-12-michael.chan@broadcom.com/ Cc: Jean Delvare <jdelvare@suse.com> Cc: Guenter Roeck <linux@roeck-us.net> Cc: linux-hwmon@vger.kernel.org Signed-off-by: Kalesh AP <kalesh-anakkur.purayil@broadcom.com> Signed-off-by: Michael Chan <michael.chan@broadcom.com> Acked-by: Guenter Roeck <linux@roeck-us.net> Signed-off-by: David S. Linux kernel
============
There are several guides for kernel developers and users. These guides can
be rendered in a number of formats, like HTML and PDF. Please read
Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst first.
In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/
There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
