The workaround database tells us to set this bit, even though the bspec indicates the bit doesn't exist on these platforms. Since this is a write-only register, we also can't read back its value to verify whether it's actually working or not. For now we'll trust that the workaround database knows what it's talking about; if not, the hardware will just ignore the attempt to write to a non-existent bit and it shouldn't cause any problems. Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst first.
In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/
There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
