During reclaim, we keep track of pages reclaimed from other means than LRU-based reclaim through scan_control->reclaim_state->reclaimed_slab, which we stash a pointer to in current task_struct. However, we keep track of more than just reclaimed slab pages through this. We also use it for clean file pages dropped through pruned inodes, and xfs buffer pages freed. Rename reclaimed_slab to reclaimed, and add a helper function that wraps updating it through current, so that future changes to this logic are contained within include/linux/swap.h. Linux kernel
============
There are several guides for kernel developers and users. These guides can
be rendered in a number of formats, like HTML and PDF. Please read
Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst first.
In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/
There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
