Eventually, I find out the handler function for inputting route lookup fail: ip_error(). The drop reasons we used in ip_error() are almost corresponding to IPSTATS_MIB_*, and following new reasons are introduced: SKB_DROP_REASON_IP_INADDRERRORS SKB_DROP_REASON_IP_INNOROUTES Isn't the name SKB_DROP_REASON_IP_HOSTUNREACH and SKB_DROP_REASON_IP_NETUNREACH more accurate? To make them corresponding to IPSTATS_MIB_*, we keep their name still. Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst first.
In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/
There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
