CPM has the same problem as QE so for CPM also use the fix added by commit0398fb7094("spi/spi_mpc8xxx: Fix QE mode Litte Endian"): CPM mode uses Little Endian so words > 8 bits are byte swapped. Workaround this by always enforcing wordsize 8 for 16 and 32 bits words. Unfortunately this will not work for LSB transfers where wordsize is > 8 bits so disable these for now. Also limit the workaround to 16 and 32 bits words because it can only work for multiples of 8-bits. Linux kernel
============
There are several guides for kernel developers and users. These guides can
be rendered in a number of formats, like HTML and PDF. Please read
Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst first.
In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/
There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
