__mas_set_range() was created to shortcut resetting the maple state and a debug check was added to the caller (the vma iterator) to ensure the internal maple state remains safe to use. Move the debug check from the vma iterator into the maple tree itself so other users do not incorrectly use the advanced maple state modification. Fallout from this change include a large amount of debug setup needed to be moved to earlier in the header, and the maple_tree.h radix-tree test code needed to move the inclusion of the header to after the atomic define. None of those changes have functional changes. Link: https://lkml.kernel.org/r/20231101171629.3612299-4-Liam.Howlett@oracle.com Signed-off-by: Liam R. Linux kernel
============
There are several guides for kernel developers and users. These guides can
be rendered in a number of formats, like HTML and PDF. Please read
Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst first.
In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/
There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
