The comment in the header with respect to beacon filtering makes a reference to "the structure above" and "the structure below" which would be informative if the comment appeared in the right place but, it does not. Fix the comment location so that it a least makes sense w/r/t the physical location statements. ``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:

There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
