The VCLK and VCLK_DIV clocks have supplementary bits. The VCLK gate has a "SOFT RESET" bit to toggle after the whole VCLK sub-tree rate has been set, this is implemented in the gate enable callback. The VCLK_DIV clocks as enable and reset bits used to disable and reset the divider, associated with CLK_SET_RATE_GATE it ensures the rate is set while the divider is disabled and in reset mode. The VCLK_DIV enable bit isn't implemented as a gate since it's part of the divider logic and vendor does this exact sequence to ensure the divider is correctly set. Linux kernel
============
There are several guides for kernel developers and users. These guides can
be rendered in a number of formats, like HTML and PDF. Please read
Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst first.
In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/
There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the reStructuredText markup notation.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
