Previously, ad2s90_probe ignored the return code from spi_setup, not handling its possible failure. This patch makes ad2s90_probe check if the code is an error code and, if so, do the following: - Call dev_err with an appropriate error message. - Return the spi_setup's error code. Note: The 'return ret' statement could be out of the 'if' block, but this whole block will be moved up in the function in the patch: 'staging:iio:ad2s90: Move device registration to the end of probe'. be rendered in a number of formats, like HTML and PDF. Please read
Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst first.
In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/
There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.
See Documentation/00-INDEX for a list of what is contained in each file.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
