For upcoming inline data extents, we're going to need to be able to shorten the value of existing bkeys in the btree - and to make that work we're going to be able to need to pad out the space the value previously took up with something. This patch changes the various code that iterates over bkeys to handle k->u64s == 0 as meaning "skip the next 8 bytes". In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/
There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
