The number of functions supported by the endpoint controller is configured in LM_EP_FUNC_CFG based on func_no member of struct pci_epf. Now that an endpoint function can be associated with two endpoint controllers (primary and secondary), just using func_no will not suffice as that will take into account only if the endpoint controller is associated with the primary interface of endpoint function. Instead use epc->function_num_map which will already have the configured functions information (irrespective of whether the endpoint controller is associated with primary or secondary interface). Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst first.
In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/
There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
