If you compile with KVM but without CONFIG_HAVE_HW_BREAKPOINT you fail at linking with: arch/powerpc/kvm/book3s_hv_rmhandlers.o:(.text+0x708): undefined reference to `dawr_force_enable' This was caused by commitc1fe190c06("powerpc: Add force enable of DAWR on P9 option"). This moves a bunch of code around to fix this. It moves a lot of the DAWR code in a new file and creates a new CONFIG_PPC_DAWR to enable compiling it. be rendered in a number of formats, like HTML and PDF. Please read
Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst first.
In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/
There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
