Commit34f0f4e3f4("ibmvnic: Fix login buffer memory leaks") frees login_rsp_buffer in release_resources() and send_login() because handle_login_rsp() does not free it. Commitf3ae59c0c0("ibmvnic: store RX and TX subCRQ handle array in ibmvnic_adapter struct") frees login_rsp_buffer in handle_login_rsp(). It seems unnecessary to free it in release_resources() and send_login(). There are chances that handle_login_rsp returns earlier without freeing buffers. Double-checking the buffer is harmless since release_login_buffer and release_login_rsp_buffer will do nothing if buffer is already freed. Linux kernel
============
There are several guides for kernel developers and users. These guides can
be rendered in a number of formats, like HTML and PDF. Please read
Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst first.
In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/
There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
