Tegra PCIe rootports don't generate MSI interrupts for PME and AER events. Since PCIe spec (Ref: r4.0 sec 7.7.1.2 and 7.7.2.2) doesn't support using a mix of INTx and MSI/MSI-X, MSI needs to be disabled to avoid root ports service drivers registering their respective ISRs with MSI interrupt and to let only INTx be used for all events. Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst first.
In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/
There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
