The big change is that random_read_wait and random_write_wait are merged into a single waitqueue that uses keyed wakeups. Because wait_event_* doesn't know about that this will lead to occassional spurious wakeups in _random_read and add_hwgenerator_randomness, but wait_event_* is designed to handle these and were are not in a a hot path there. Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst first.
In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/
There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.
See Documentation/00-INDEX for a list of what is contained in each file.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
