The SCSI REQUEST SENSE command emulation was found to be broken. It is a quite complex command so try and make it do a subset of what it should do. Remove the attempt to mimic SCSI-1 REQUEST SENSE (i.e. return the sense data for the previous failed command). Add some reporting of "pollable" sense data [see spc6r02: 5.12.2]. Keep the IEC mode page MRIE=6 TEST=1 predictive failure reporting. Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst first.
In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/
There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
