GGTT is currently available both through i915->ggtt and gt->ggtt, and we eventually want to get rid of the i915->ggtt one. Use to_gt() for all i915->ggtt accesses to help with the future refactoring. During the probe of i915 the early intiialization of the gt (intel_gt_init_hw_early()) is moved prior to any access to the ggtt. This because it's in that moment we assign the ggtt to the gt and we want to do that before using it. be rendered in a number of formats, like HTML and PDF. Please read
Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst first.
In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/
There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
