We can see the following build error if CONFIG_DYNAMIC_FTRACE_WITH_REGS
is not set on LoongArch:

The reason is that the __get_mod() and get_plt_addr() may be called in
ftrace_make_{call,nop}.

There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
