Previously pci_enable_link_state(PCIE_LINK_STATE_L1_1) enabled only ASPM_STATE_L1_1 and did not enable ASPM_STATE_L1. The L1.1 state only works when L1 is enabled, so enable ASPM_STATE_L1 in addition, and do the same for L1.2. The only current caller is vmd_pm_enable_quirk(), which enables *all* ASPM states, so this should have no functional effect. Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst first.
In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/
There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
