Commit32927393dc("sysctl: pass kernel pointers to ->proc_handler") changed ctl_table.proc_handler to take a kernel pointer. Adjust the signature of ftrace_enable_sysctl to match ctl_table.proc_handler which fixes the following sparse warning: kernel/trace/ftrace.c:7544:43: warning: incorrect type in argument 3 (different address spaces) kernel/trace/ftrace.c:7544:43: expected void * kernel/trace/ftrace.c:7544:43: got void [noderef] __user *buffer Fixes:32927393dc("sysctl: pass kernel pointers to ->proc_handler") Signed-off-by: Tobias Klauser <tklauser@distanz.ch> Signed-off-by: Andrew Morton <akpm@linux-foundation.org> Cc: Christoph Hellwig <hch@lst.de> Cc: Al Viro <viro@zeniv.linux.org.uk> Link: https://lkml.kernel.org/r/20200907093207.13540-1-tklauser@distanz.ch Signed-off-by: Linus Torvalds <torvalds@linux-foundation.org>

Linux kernel
============
There are several guides for kernel developers and users. These guides can
be rendered in a number of formats, like HTML and PDF. Please read
Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst first.
In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/
There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
