The function mod_hdcp_hdcp1_create_session() calls the function get_first_active_display(), but does not check its return value. The return value is a null pointer if the display list is empty. This will lead to a null pointer dereference. Add a null pointer check for get_first_active_display() and return MOD_HDCP_STATUS_DISPLAY_NOT_FOUND if the function return null. This is similar to the commitc3e9826a22("drm/amd/display: Add null pointer check for get_first_active_display()"). Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst first.
In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/
There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the reStructuredText markup notation.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
