When we remount filesystem with 'abort' mount option while changing other mount options as well (as is LTP test doing), we can return error from the system call after commitd3476f3dad("ext4: don't set SB_RDONLY after filesystem errors") because the application of mount option changes detects shutdown filesystem and refuses to do anything. The behavior of application of other mount options in presence of 'abort' mount option is currently rather arbitary as some mount option changes are handled before 'abort' and some after it. Move aborting of the filesystem to the end of remount handling so all requested changes are properly applied before the filesystem is shutdown to have a reasonably consistent behavior. Linux kernel
============
There are several guides for kernel developers and users. These guides can
be rendered in a number of formats, like HTML and PDF. Please read
Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst first.
In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/
There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the reStructuredText markup notation.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
