The DLM configfs path has usually a nodeid in it's directory path and again a file to store the nodeid again in a separate storage. It is forced that the user space will set both (the directory name and nodeid file) storage to the same value if it doesn't do that we run in some kind of broken state. This patch will simply represent the file storage to it's upper directory nodeid name. It will force the user now to use a valid unsigned int as nodeid directory name and will ignore all nodeid writes in the nodeid file storage as this will now always represent the upper nodeid directory name. Linux kernel
============
There are several guides for kernel developers and users. These guides can
be rendered in a number of formats, like HTML and PDF. Please read
Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst first.
In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/
There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the reStructuredText markup notation.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
