One of the possible ways to enable the input MTU auto-selection for L2CAP connections is supposed to be through passing a special "0" value for it as a socket option. Commit [1] added one of those into avdtp. However, it simply wouldn't work because the kernel still treats the specified value as invalid and denies the setting attempt. Recorded BlueZ logs include the following: bluetoothd[496]: profiles/audio/avdtp.c:l2cap_connect() setsockopt(L2CAP_OPTIONS): Invalid argument (22) [1]:ae5be371a9Found by Linux Verification Center (linuxtesting.org). Linux kernel
============
There are several guides for kernel developers and users. These guides can
be rendered in a number of formats, like HTML and PDF. Please read
Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst first.
In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/
There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the reStructuredText markup notation.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
