The field kobj was added to hfi1_devdata structure to manage the life time of the hfi1_devdata structure for PSM accesses: commite11ffbd575("IB/hfi1: Do not free hfi1 cdev parent structure early") Later another mechanism user_refcount/user_comp was introduced to provide the same functionality: commitacd7c8fe14("IB/hfi1: Fix an Oops on pci device force remove") This patch will remove this kobj field, as it is no longer needed. Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst first.
In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/
There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
