ib_dma_map_sg() augments the SGL into a 'dma mapped SGL'. This process may change the number of entries and the lengths of each entry. Code that touches dma_address is iterating over the 'dma mapped SGL' and must use dma_nents which returned from ib_dma_map_sg(). ib_sg_to_pages() and ib_map_mr_sg() are using dma_address so they must use dma_nents. Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst first.
In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/
There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
