The IOMMU_CAP_CACHE_COHERENCY check only applies to the physical devices that are IOMMU-backed. But it is now in the group code. If want to compile vfio_group infrastructure out, this check needs to be moved out of the group code. Another reason for this change is to fail the device registration for the physical devices that do not have IOMMU if the group code is not compiled as the cdev interface does not support such devices. Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst first.
In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/
There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
