noop_backing_dev_info is used by superblocks of various pseudofilesystems such as kdevtmpfs. After commit10e1407310("writeback: Fix inode->i_io_list not be protected by inode->i_lock error") this broke because __mark_inode_dirty() started to access more fields from noop_backing_dev_info and this led to crashes inside locked_inode_to_wb_and_lock_list() called from __mark_inode_dirty(). Fix the problem by initializing noop_backing_dev_info before the filesystems get mounted. Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst first.
In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/
There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
