There's no need to manually have to set the module owner of a class, the compiler should do it automatically for you, so add a module * to the __class_register() function and allow it to set the module owner automatically. This will let us move the module pointer out of struct class eventually, as it should not be embedded in there if we wish for it to be a read-only structure eventually. And, funny story, this module pointer isn't even being used for anything, so while we will keep it around for now, it's not like it even matters. Cc: "Rafael J. Linux kernel
============
There are several guides for kernel developers and users. These guides can
be rendered in a number of formats, like HTML and PDF. Please read
Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst first.
In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/
There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
