iomap_folio_state (ifs) can be derived directly from the folio, making it unnecessary to pass "ifs" as an argument to iomap_set_range_uptodate(). This patch eliminates "ifs" argument from iomap_set_range_uptodate() function. Also, the definition of iomap_set_range_uptodate() and ifs_set_range_uptodate() functions are moved above ifs_alloc(). In upcoming patches, we plan to introduce additional helper routines for handling dirty state, with the intention of consolidating all of "ifs" state handling routines at one place. Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst first.
In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/
There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
