When building the kernel with W=1 the build system complains of: drivers/mmc/host/omap.c:854:6: warning: no previous prototype for ‘omap_mmc_notify_cover_event’ [-Wmissing-prototypes] 854 | void omap_mmc_notify_cover_event(struct device *dev, int num, int is_closed) | ^~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ If we move the prototype into a shared headerfile the build system will be satisfied. Rather than create a whole new headerfile just for this purpose, it makes sense to use the already existing mmc-omap.h. be rendered in a number of formats, like HTML and PDF. Please read
Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst first.
In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/
There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
